First Aid Training
Choice Training Solutions provides an extensive range of First Aid training programs. Training is provided by qualified staff and can be provided in one of our training facilities or out on site for your organisation. The First Aid training programs offered include:
Cardiopulmonary (CPR)
CPR Training is conducted for 2–4 hours, depending on the size of the group. It is recommended that CPR is updated every 12 months & a certificate of attendance is issued for this course.
Emergency First Aid Level 1
Level 1 First Aid aims to provide participants with the skills & knowledge critical to saving life & minimizing the severity of injury or sudden illness. The course runs for 1 day & includes Emergency CPR. Renewals are required every 3 years to keep this qualification current.
Workplace Level 2 First Aid
Level 2 First Aid aims to provide participants with the skills to give competent emergency care until trained assistance is available and includes Emergency CPR. The course runs for 2 days on site or as 1 day practical & 1 day as a take home test. Level 2 updates can also be provided. Renewals are required every 3 years to keep this qualification current.
Participants
All participants receive First Aid training manuals.
All participants receive an Accredited First Aid Certificate.
All participants have access to First Aid equipment including Resuscitation manikins.
Competency Unit
Level 1 & Level 2 First Aid training is based on the national competency
BSBCMN218A “Apply Basic First Aid”.
