Duty of Care
This short course recognises the changing nature of aged care in Australia and will address a wide range of topics including:
- Assessment in aged care
- Quality use of medicines and older people
- Parkinson’s management and how to improve outcomes
- Nursing management and medication management
- Duty of care and legal aspects of ageing and elder abuse
- Quality of life
- Caring for the person with dementia
Current and relevant material will be presented by renowned health professionals.
Participants will deepen their knowledge of aged care issues, allowing them to provide high quality care to clients.
