5 Day Occupational Health & Safety Course
This course aims to provide participants with information to enable them to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice & relevant standards;
- Identify, assess and provide suggestions for control of hazards present in the workplace associated with occupations or tasks;
- Investigate injuries, illness and incidents;
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in Occupational Health & Safety;
- Provide positive contributions to safety in their workplace.
Choice Training Solutions run their 5 day OH&S course in conjunction with Global Safety & Lifecare Systems and RMIT University. This qualification has been approved by the Victorian WorkCover Authority and is delivered by accredited trainers that have extensive experience in health & safety across a wide range of industries.
Participants who complete this course will receive an RMIT University statement of completion certificate. The course also provides participants with recognition of prior learning RA193 OHS Fundamentals – RMIT University Diploma of Occupational Health & Safety.
The course has been designed to be delivered with a focus on addressing individual participant’s issues and emphasizes a team approach to solving health and safety issues.
